There are many christmas traditions being celebrated all
over the world. In Italy Christmas will not complete
without panettone. The large Italian sweetbread is an
absolute protagonist in the Italian Christmas lunch, being the
favourite dessert during festive times. The rich wholesome
panettone is a soft, humble sweetbread of large proportions
traditionally made with sultanas and other candied fruit.
